How come I can't seem to get a good first impression on people I really want/need to have a good impression of me?

Like 'Kitty' for instance [Chelsea, don't laugh. At least don't tell me you laughed] I really wanted him to have a good first impresion of me. But when I looked back on it, I realized his fist impression of me was this random girl sitting at the bus station crying her head off who ignores me when i'm trying to be nice and trips over herself getting on the bus. Amazing, eh? Wait till you hear the rest.
Kitty's second impression: Girl who can't seem to stand straight on the bus.
third: girl i accidentaly (i hope) slamed in the face with the door
fourth: Girl that walked into me while staring at a door.

MY LUCK SUCKS

'Bunnie' is not that much better off
First: freaky girl jumping up and down, screaming, and then running away from her friend
Second: Weird girl that stares at me.

If there was a 'how to give people a good first impression class' i'll take it.
